 Itchy, Sneezy, Wheezy project

The Itchy, Sneezy, Wheezy project is an integrated allergy pathway for children across primary and secondary care. The initial trials were very successful and a validated PREM (Patient Reported Experience Measure) stated that 98% of parents reported high or very high levels of patient satisfaction with the service they received

  • Project data is included in the executive summary and a health economic evaluation, developed in collaboration with Optimity Matrix, which indicates a 23% reduction in admission rates. For example, if this were applied to Ealing CCG, they would see an estimated cost saving of over £390,000
  • We are now rolling out this project to more NHS organisations across NW London and other parts of the UK to improve health outcomes and reduce hospital admissions
